We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant team at O'Conners Stavanger! This position is full-time (100%) and will start as soon as possible. If you are ready to take the next step in your culinary career, we would love to hear from you!
🔍 What We Look For
- Strong passion for cooking and delivering excellent food
- Experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a bar or pub setting
- Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Norwegian is a plus
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Creativity in menu planning and ingredient selection
🎯 Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menu items
- Prepare and present food in accordance with O’Conners’ standards
- Manage stock levels and ensure proper food storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed
- Ensure smooth operations during busy service times
