About the position

At Vineria Venditue, an Italian restaurant with a passion for traditional flavors, we are seeking a Head Chef who shares our love for Italian cuisine. You are passionate about food quality, respect Italian ingredients, and create dishes with authentic flavors. As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen with the responsibility of delivering quality, even under pressure. We are looking for someone who values teamwork and wants to develop our culinary team while playing a central role in continuing Vineria Venditue's vision of an authentic Italian dining experience. Your role will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and presenting our exquisite Italian dishes with a focus on detail and traditional flavors.
  • Creating staff schedules and coordinating the team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Leading the kitchen team and offering continuous training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensuring high food quality and maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Flexible and solution-oriented with a passion for Italian cuisine.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high cooking standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in leading a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to inspire others in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably within Italian cuisine.
  • Previous leadership experience in a kitchen.
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and/or English.
