🍽️ Join Our Team at Hei Solvik – Now Hiring a seasonal Chef! 👨‍🍳✨

Hei Solvik, a charming casual dining restaurant nestled in the beautiful Malmøya in Oslofjord, is seeking a talented chef to join our team. We have one full-time (100%) position available, starting on May 01, 2025 until September 2025. This role will involve working evenings and weekends.

🔍 What We Look For

• An independent chef that can work alone and with our Head Chef

• A genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences

• Experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on quality meat and fish dishes

• Someone that understands that there are quite and busy days and is prepared to work more and less certain days depending on weather

• Ability to follow and uphold hygiene standards and operational routines

• Friendly and customer-focused

• Proficiency in English, while understanding Norwegian is a plus

• Familiarity with managing ingredients and maintaining a clean workspace

🎯 Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of dishes in line with our restaurant’s concept

• Execute daily operations and manage lunch service and dinner service

• Ensure adherence to hygiene protocols and regulations for handling ingredients

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas according to the cleaning plan

• Foster cooperation between service, bar, kitchen, and other departments

• Contribute to a healthy working environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues
