About the position

We are looking for a waiter to work the summer season in beautiful Haugesund, Norway🇳🇴

We are currently hiring Waiters/Waitresses to join us for the summer season. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring that our guests have a delightful dining experience. This is an exciting opportunity for friendly and energetic individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring that all orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions with precision.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Norwegian is a plus but not mandatory.
