About the position

For our brasserie, we are now looking for two chefs to start in April/May. Bryggekanten Brasserie is located in Kristiansund and is one of two restaurants that make up the Bryggekanten restaurant house. In the Brasserie we serve modern international cuisine, based on local ingredients. We train 2-4 apprentices a year, so good technical knowledge is important. We are open Monday-Saturday for both lunch and dinner, so both day and evening shifts are required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and cooking of dishes from the ala carte menu.
  • Daily routines according to the company's food safety system.
  • Contribute to the training of new chefs.

Requirements:

  • Experience with food preparation/mise en place.
  • Experience as a line cook/chef de partie.

About the company

Bryggekanten Brasserie is one of two restaurants that make up the restaurant house Bryggekanten Brasserie and Baches Bar A/S. The brasserie opened in 2006 and is located on our first floor. Here you will find a modern kitchen (renovated in 2020), a serving area for 75 guests and an outdoor terrace for 70 guests. We also have a larger popular bar, with a good selection of self-produced cocktails, wine and beer.

On our 2nd floor we run the Bryggekanten Restaurant (opened 2014). Here we serve fixed 3-7 course menus.
