Sushi Chef

About the position

We are expanding our team! We are looking for a qualified and independent sushi chef that likes to plan his/her work day, is flexible and prefers accuracy. If you are creative and likes to experience with new flavours, its' a big plus.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily prep of assorted fish, vegetables and garnish.
  • Production of á la carte orders, and take away
  • Cleaning
  • Responsibility of your own station according to the restaurant's HACCP

Requirements:

  • Experience from sushi á la carte
  • Independent
  • Solution oriented

About the company

We are a local fish restaurant/ fish store in the center of Ålesund. We have a full a la carte menu with fresh sea food, and a large selection of handmade sushi. Our restaurant have capacity for 80 guests, over two floors. We are mainly a daytime restaurant, but in the summer season we are open in the evenings as well. We also have a catering business and our own bakery kitchen where sour dough bread is our most important product.
